Mr. James H. Jones left his earthly home June 9, 2018 at the age of 88. Mr. Jones was born January 15, 1930 a son of the late Jessie and Ruth Cooper Jones. After serving in the Navy, James returned to Jordanville and became a lifelong farmer. He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene and Clarence Jones, and three sisters, Dorothy, Mildred and Allene Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elneta S. (Brooks) Jones; a son, James Ronald Rahlan Jones; stepson, Hank Wesley Brooks (Linda); granddaughter, Misty Michelle Atkinson (Brian); great granddaughter, Hayleigh Brooke Atkinson, and a nephew Harold Jones. There are many other family and friends who will miss him, but will cherish the many wonderful memories made with him. The family would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt thoughts and prayers.
