James Paul Winburn's Obituary

Mr. James Paul Winburn, age 70, passed away following an extended illness on May 20, 2024. Mr. Winburn was born March 23, 1954 a son of the late Paul Eugene and Orene Allen Winburn. Mr. Winburn was also predeceased by his two sisters and brother in laws: Brenda Singleton (Johnny) and Diane Sammons (Steve). Mr. Winburn was a simple man and enjoyed going out to eat. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, loved his church family and his community. He was a hardworking man that loved farming, agriculture, supporting agriculture programs and Gamecock football. Mr. Winburn is survived by his loving wife: Hilda W. Winburn; one daughter: Hillary Winburn; his niece and nephew: Lisa Singleton (Tom) and Woody Singleton (Susan); and his special family and business partners: Randall Winburn (Polly) and Glenn Winburn (Jackie). Funeral services for Mr. Paul will be held 2:30 PM Friday, May 24, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Connor and Rev. TJ Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service in the church fellowship hall from 1:30-2:15 PM. Memorials can be made to Marion County 4-H, 206 Airport Court Marion, SC 29574, or Aynor High School FFA, 201 Jordanville Road Aynor, SC 29511, or to Antioch Baptist Church, 2080 Hwy 129 Aynor, SC 29511.
