Mrs. Janice Allen, age 89, of Conway passed away at her residence May 5, 2024.  Mrs. Allen was the wife of the late Bobby Norton Allen and daughter of the late John Walter and Freddie Edna Vaught Fowler.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Mr. Judson Fowler.  Mrs. Janice was member of Salem Baptist Church.  She retired from HTC after 33 years of service with the Accounting Department.  Mrs. Allen had the kindest soul, strongest faith, and loved her family dearly.  Surviving Mrs. Janice is one son: Walter Kynn Allen; one daughter: Teryl Allen Scholes; three grandchildren: Robert Clinton Scholes Jr. (Cherie), Collin Evans Allen (JJ), and Sydnie Allen Malinski (Tyler); three great grandchildren: Langley Scholes, Lana Scholes, and Lily Malinski; and one sister: Judith Ambrose.  A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Herrington officiating.  The family will visit and enjoy refreshments with friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
