Mrs. Jean James, age 62 wife of Mr. George "Tump" James went to be with the Lord December 29, 2014. Mrs. James was born November 18, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida a daughter of the late Wright L. and Laura E. Clark Mims. Mrs. James really enjoyed her job as a Registered Nurse and loved her family dearly. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Surviving Mrs. James in addition to her husband are four sons, Eddie James of Galivants Ferry, Jeff James of Conway, Adam James of Galivants Ferry, Dane James and his wife Nicole of Columbia, eight grandchildren, Jordan, Zack, Olivia, Kenna, Audrey, Taylor, Colbin, and soon to be born Bryson James, three great grandchildren, Keegan, Frankie, and Kenzlie James, two brothers, Bill Mims of Tennessee, Bob Mims of Iowa, one sister, Jane Jennings of Florida, and her special pet Scarlet.

Visitation will be held December 31, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday January 1, 2015 at Pisgah United Methodist with the Rev. Henry Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
