Mrs. Jerry Faye Reaves Johnson, age 77, unexpectedly passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Jerry Faye was born September 19, 1945, a daughter of the late Emery and Georgeanna Martin Graham. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jerry Faye was predeceased by her first husband: Floyd Wayne Reaves and three brothers: Archie Graham, Charles Graham and Elton Graham. She was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church and a current member of Happy Home Baptist where she loved all her church family and friends from both. Mrs. Jerry Faye will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker, loving wife and someone who loved her Children and grandchildren dearly. Mrs. Jerry Faye is survived by her second husband: Lamar Johnson; two sons: Jerry Reaves (Beth) and Michael Reaves; two step daughters: Sheila Baxley (Jimmie) and Lynn Johnson (Randy); one step son: Mitchell Johnson; three grandchildren: Megan Elizabeth Reaves, James Emery Reaves and Zachary Wayne Reaves; five step grandchildren: Nick Johnson (Ashlyn), Paige Young (Brett), Brooklyn Johnson, Bryce Baxley and Jena Baxley; two sisters: Judy Rabon (Bennett) and Barbara Peavy; and two sister in laws: Sylvia Graham and Ellen Ireland. Visitation for Mrs. Jerry Faye will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, June 26, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2003 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Chestnut and Rev. Dean Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
