Mr. Jimmy Allen Dinkins, age 62, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.  Mr. Jimmy was the son of the late Billy McArthur and Gloris Hope Edge Dinkins.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers: David Lee Dinkins and Matthew Monroe Dinkins; and one sister: Edna Louise Dinkins.  Mr. Jimmy loved walking, writing poems, drawing and listening to music from the 60's, 70's and 80's.  Surviving Mr. Dinkins is his wife: Tina Dinkins; one son: Christopher Dale Dinkins; one daughter: Barbara Jean Stroud; three grandchildren: Hunter Matthew Stroud, Kimberlyn Renee Cooper, and Gunner Carroll Stroud; two brothers: Billy Oneal Dinkins and Jerry Mitchell Dinkins; and one sister: Sherry Lynn Hartfield.  There will be a Celebration of Life service Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the residence of Jimmy and Tina Dinkins.  All family and friends are invited to attend.
