Mr. John C. Brown, age 84, passed away January 13, 2024. Mr. Brown was born June 21, 1939, a son of the late Pink and Mary D. Brown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was predeceased by his wife Linda Brown; two grandchildren: Kyliee Parker and Shawn Brown; five brothers: Billy Joe Brown, L.J. Brown, Ernie Brown, Charlie Brown, William Brown; and one sister: Edna Mae Brown. He is survived by one son: Christopher Brown; one daughter: Mary Brown; one brother: Harry Brown; one sister: Lou Ellen Vogle; and one granddaughter: Jessica Cartrette. The family will receive friends at his son's home at 1360 St. John Road Galivants Ferry, SC 29544 at any time before the service. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Galivants Ferry Baptist Church with the Rev. Lindsay Brown officiating.
