Mr. John W. Davis, age 60, of Fairmont, NC passed away at his residence Tuesday, February 13, 2024.  Mr. John was the son of the late Bernice and Lizzie Mae Strong Davis.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers: Charles Ray Davis, Harold Eugene Davis, Bryan LaFon Davis and Christopher Leigh Davis. Mr. Davis attended Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Mr. John has been disabled since birth, but he didn't allow that to slow him down.  He was a man that was loved by all who knew him and will not be forgotten.  Surviving Mr. John are three brothers: Johnny Davis, Kenny Davis (Judy), and Jimmy Davis (Sonya); two sisters: Patricia Ann Buchanan (Dale) and Loretta Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  A visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 6 – 8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.  A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Barfield officiating.  Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  Mr. John has finally made it to his resting place near his mother.  We will all see you later Buddy!
