John Daniel "Dan" Howell age 53, husband of Mrs. Tammy Anderson Howell passed away July 4, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Howell was born July 1, 1961 a son of Mr. Frederick M. Howell and the late Doris Howard Howell. Mr. Howell was predeceased by one son Joseph Daniel Howell II. He was a member of Aynor First Pentecostal Holiness church. Mr. Howell was the former owner and operator of A and H deer processing, and he loved racing, hunting, fishing and cooking. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Howell is survived by one daughter, Kayla Howell Todd and her husband Elbert of Conway, one grandson, Jay Preston Todd, one brother, Tim Howell of Nichols, one sister, Melissa Howell Dennis of Conway, many nieces, nephews, and many others who called him "Uncle Dan" or "Papa".

Visitation will be held July 12, 2014 at 5200 Pauley Swamp Road from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday July 13, 2014 at 5200 Pauley Swamp Road with the Rev. Jerry Howell, Rev. L.J. Young, and Rev. Kevin Howard officiating. Burial will follow at the Anderson Family Cemetery. Mr. Howell and his family are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home of 290 9th Ave. Aynor.
