John A. Barbuto Jr., 57, of Bordentown, NJ, passed away on August 26th, 2025 at his home in Nichols, SC.

John was born on August 31st, 1967 in New Jersey to John and Dorree Barbuto. He worked for the Bordentown Township Public Works Department for almost 23 years and graduated from Burlington County Fire Academy in 1996 – Station 322 Derby. John was a certified Fire Inspector and served as a volunteer firefighter for as long as his health allowed. John also worked for a tree and landscaping service and brought the skills he learned to the Public Works Department and because of his knowledge and great climbing skills he became known as their "tree guy".

A loyal friend, loving husband, and animal lover, John made a lasting impact on the many lives he touched. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and skilled motorcycle rider. His friends describe him as "the king of the world when he was on his bike". He enjoyed sharing recipes, making people laugh, and he could always be counted on to be there when he was needed.

John is survived by loving friends, his sister Pamela Frank (NJ), and extended family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sheri, sisters Renee and Angela, and parents John and Dorree Barbuto
