Mr. John Staton Jr, age 76, husband of Mrs. Barbara Ann Staton passed away July 19, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family. Mr. Staton was born October 9, 1939 a son of the late John Staton Sr. and the late Virginia Constance Wallace Staton. He was a member of Bakers Chapel Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Staton is survived by two sons, Robert Wayne Staton (Sandra), Gary Alan Staton (Helen) all of Galivants Ferry, one daughter, Katina Marie Staton of Aynor, one brother, Phillip Staton of Houstonia, Missouri, three sisters, Carol Jean Johnson (Lawrence) of Higginsville, Missouri, Oleta Wilson (Randy) of Marshall, Missouri, Debbie Smith (James) of Aynor, eight grandchildren, Miranda, Megan, and Summer Staton, Amanda Tomes, Gary Staton Jr., Tyler Sellers, Nicholas and Jonathon McRae, and three great grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday July 23, 2016 at Bakers Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating.

VISITATION

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
