Mr. Johnnie Ruben Lane, age 74 passed away at his residence January 15, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Lane was born October 10, 1943 a son of the late John O'Neal and Elizabeth Spivey Lane. He was predeceased by his wife Mrs. Naomia Jones Lane. Mr. Lane was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his pet squirrel Theodore. Mr. Lane is survived by one son, O'Neal Lane (Kristi), one daughter, Rena Hughes (Eddie), two brothers, Palmer Lane, Leonard Lane (Sharon), two sisters, Marilyn Jackson (Carl), Miriam Collins (Lanneau), four grandchildren, Jordy Hughes (Casey), Haley Ammons (Josh), Tori Sawyer (Josh), Miranda Lane (Ethan), and three great grandchildren, Eli Ammons, Clara Hughes, and Laney Sawyer.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday January 17, 2018 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
