John "Johnny" Rabon Jr.

Mr. John “Johnny” H. Rabon Jr., age 66, passed away following an accident on August 19, 2026. Mr. Rabon was born on August 30, 1959, a son of the late John H. Rabon Sr. and Virga Lee Rabon, and was also predeceased by one brother, Herman Randall Rabon. Mr. Johnny was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and had a huge love for his Lord and family. Since retirement, he loved being outdoors, hunting, and especially fishing with his “Pa”. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Johnny is survived by his wife, Mrs. Paula Johnson Rabon; three sons: Matthew Rabon (Yuliya), Daniel Rabon (Lauren), and Andrew Rabon (Amanda); one daughter: MaKayla Bullock; three grandchildren: Mark Rabon, Victoria Rabon and Hunter Bullock; his mother and father-in-law: Paul and Emma Johnson; special nephew: Shannon Johnson; and his beloved pet Heidi. Funeral services for Mr. Johnny will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends in the church before the service from 2:00-2:45 PM.
