Mr. Joseph D. Parker, age 75 of Parker Rd. passed away November 30, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Mr. Parker was born April 22, 1940 in Horry County a son of the late Purdee and Ruth Carroll Parker. He was predeceased by two sisters, Abbie Parker Gardner, and Alma Winters. Mr. Parker attended Aynor Church of God and was past troop leader of the Boy Scouts Troop 121 in Kinston, NC. Surviving Mr. Parker in addition to his wife, Mrs. Doris Perritt Parker are two sons, Billy Parker (Tracy) of Goldsboro, NC, Ken Parker (Shelly) of Galivants Ferry, one daughter, Teresa Caulder (Buddy) of Dillon, one brother, Roscoe Parker, one sister, Shirley King, both of Galivants Ferry, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday December 3, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday December 4, 2015 at Aynor Church of God with the Rev. Haywood Proctor and Rev. Andy Jones officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Galivants Ferry Baptist Church Cemetery.
