Mrs. Joyce Jefferson Via, age 66 of Conway, SC passed away April 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Via was born August 27, 1952 a daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Dunovan Jefferson and was also predeceased by her two brothers, David and Garland Jefferson, and two sisters, Juanita Smith and Nancy Byrd Roberts.  Mrs. Via was a member of Maple Baptist Church and she retired from the International Mission Board of Virginia where she proudly severed for many years.  Mrs. Via is survived by her husband, Raymond Via Jr., her nephews, Brian and Michelle Roberts, Stevie and Brandi Roberts, Jimmy and Gail Williams, William and Wendy Jefferson, Sean and Kim Newby, two step children, Andrew Via and his special friend Tiffany, and Gabrielle Via and her fiancé Eric, one grandson, Blane Via, a cousin, Clifton Jefferson and his wife Brenda, two brother in laws, Donald Via and his wife Betty, and James Via and his wife Wendy, and her sister in law and best friend of many years, Patricia Edberg and her husband Jim.  A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday April 28, 2019 at Maple Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Reeves officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home of Brian and Michelle Roberts and briefly following the service.
