Mrs. Judy D. Hardwick, age 80 of Methodist Rehobeth Road passed away following an extend illness Thursday, March 7, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 6, 1943, a daughter of the late John Connon and Eva Floyd Doyle and was the wife of the late Marvin Bishop "M.B." Hardwick. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hardwick was predeceased by one brother: J.C. Doyle. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church and a member of the DayLily RedHat Club. Mrs. Hardwick loved going fishing and visiting with her family and friends. Her door was always opened to anyone in the community. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Mrs. Hardwick is survived by one daughter: Sharon Altman (Bill); three sons: Darryl Hardwick (Kimberly), Bradley Hardwick (Laura) and Reggie Hardwick; ten grandchildren: Taylor Todd (Shawn), Dillon Hardwick (Madison), Ellis Hardwick, Eva Hardwick, Caroline Aalderink (Ben), Will Altman (Stockton), Christy Young (Tim), Abby Shea (Adam), JR Altman and True Altman; ten great grandchildren: Blakely Todd, Tuck Aalderink, Enoch Aalderink, Miriam Aalderink, Ezra Aalderink, Ruby Aalderink, Ellory Aalderink, Mary Catherine Young, Roger Young and Jeremy Shea; two sisters: Barbara Rabon and Linda Welch. Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Berea Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Memorials can made in Mrs. Judy Hardwick's memory to Berea Baptist Church, 4287 Joyner Swamp Road Galivants Ferry, SC 29544 or to a charity of your choice.
