Judy Johnson Roberts's Obituary

Mrs. Judy Johnson Roberts, age 81, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living in Conway.  Mrs. Roberts is the wife of 62 years to Mr. Carlisle Wayne Roberts and daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Lena Martin Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Bobby Johnson.  Mrs. Judy was a lifetime Aynor resident and attended Antioch Baptist Church in her earlier years before her sickness.  She loved her flowers, being outdoors, and attending Brookgreen Gardens during the springtime to see the azaleas bloom.  Mrs. Judy was very involved in her children's upbringing while assisting with Girl Scouts and any school events.  Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Mr. Carlisle; one daughter: Shelley D. Grainger (Rick); one son: Bradley Roberts (Taylor Winters); grandchildren: Charlie Grainger and Daniel Grainger (Elydia); one brother: Albert Johnson (Cynthia); one sister: Sandra Carroll (Rogers); and one sister-in-law: Arba Johnson.  The family would like to thank the staff at Anderson Oaks for their love and care for Mrs. Judy during her time at the facility.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church cemetery with Chaplain Ron Taylor officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Mrs. Judy Roberts to Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org/donate.
