Mr. J.W. Baker, age 77 of Valley Forge Road passed away September 3, 2015 at Grand Strand Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Baker was born November 2, 1937 a son of the late Otha and Ruth Cannon Baker. Mr. Baker was the owner and operator of Bakers Pawn Shop for 23 years. He was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, and he was predeceased by one brother, M.B. Baker. Surviving Mr. Baker in addition to his wife, Mrs. Angelee Baker of the home are two sons, Danny Baker (Lib) of Loris, Rev. Randy Baker (Melissa) of Aynor, one sister, Ivadeen Allen of Aynor, four grandchildren, Dutch Baker, Jennifer Spivey, Bradley Baker, Shelley Baker, and two great grandchildren, Haylee and Kelsey Clark.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday September 5, 2015 at Valley Forge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Fairfax and Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30-11:15 AM in the church fellowship hall.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
