Kenneth O Ward, age 86, passed away on March 13, 2026. He was the son of the late Mr. Olen Ward and Mrs. Betty Ward. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Sandy V. Ward; two brothers, Billy (Bill) Ward and Robert (Bob) Ward; a grandson, Brandon G. Nobles; and a special sister-in-law, Lib Ward. Kenny was a graduate of Aynor High School, class of 1957. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 4 years. Kenny had a BS and a master's degree from the University of South Carolina. He was a CPA and licensed real estate broker. Throughout his life, Mr. Ward served his country and community with distinction as a Magistrate judge in Aynor, SC, for over 32 years. He served on the board of Conway Hospital and the Waccamaw State Bank. Kenny was a member of Aynor Masonic Lodge #257, the Aynor Lions Club, co-founder of Rolling Hills Golf Course, co-founder of Aynor Little League, a Shriner, inducted into Aynor High School's Athletic Hall of Fame, and a member of Aynor United Methodist Church. Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Ward; children, Wendy Nobles, Kenneth (Ken) Ward (Shana), Amy Thompson, Earl Ward (Brittany), John Ward, Amanda Azzarella, and Dylan DiCapua, all from Aynor, SC, 2 stepchildren: Felicia Johnson and William Johnson; 13 grandchildren: Crickette Nobles McCrackin (Cord), Jake Thompson (Melissa), Max Thompson (Candace), Nolan Thompson (Emily), Lance Slocum (Kelly), Landon Ward, Paisley Martin, Blake Mitchell, Bradyn Ward, Nova Leigh Ward, Klaus Ward, Chloe and Bryson Allen, one granddaughter in law Jade Nobles; 14 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, one brother, Larry Ward, 2 special sister in-laws Shelva Jean Ward and Elizabeth Ward, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Mr. Kenny will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Aynor Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Johnson, Rev. Lindsey Brown, and Rev. Kelly Snelgrove officiating. Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Mr. Kenny's grandson, Brandon Nobles, to www.als.org/ways-give.
