Mr. Kennith "Kenny" Gardner Johnson, age 79, passed away February 9, 2024, at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Johnson was born October 21, 1944, in Galivants Ferry, SC, a son of the late Arthur K. and Ethel Amelia Graham Johnson. Mr. Kenny was the brother of the late Donald Johnson, Boyd Johnson, and his twin infant sisters, Brenda Johnson and Amelia Johnson. Mr. Kenny was the founder of Aynor Building Supply in 1976. He loved his Lord and Savior and was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working and real estate. Mr. Kenny will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that will be missed dearly.  Mr. Kenny is survived by his wife of 59 years: Mrs. Patsy Richardson Johnson; two sons: Timmy Johnson (Regina) and Craig Johnson (Debbie); four grandchildren: Chase Johnson (Emily), Savannah Harrelson (Adam), Cassie Martin (Brett) and Seals Johnson (Carrie); two great grandchildren: Doc Martin and Gunner Martin; and three sisters: Faye Huggins, Linda Mims and Jackie Squires. Visitation will be held for Mr. Kenny Monday, February 12, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Happy Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Chestnut and Rev. Rodney Hord officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC. Memorials can be made in Mr. Kenny's memory to Happy Home Baptist Church, 2866 Nichols Hwy. Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.
