Mr. Larry Mudd, age 81, of Galivants Ferry, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Mudd was the husband of the late Mary Kate Jenkins Mudd, and son of the late Vernon and Agnus Lacina Mudd.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Mudd is predeceased by one daughter: Paula Mudd; one brother: Lloyd Mudd and one sister: Edna Marie Sheeran.  Mr. Larry was a member of Pisgah Global Methodist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a family-oriented person with a huge heart and always willing to give to others.  Surviving Mr. Larry is one son: Lance Mudd; two grandchildren: Abigail and Logan Mudd; one brother: Leroy James Mudd and many nieces, nephews and extended family.  The family will receive friends Friday, December 27, 2024 at Pisgah Global Methodist Church from 10:00 – 10:45 AM.  Funeral services will follow at the church beginning at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dave Wehrle officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
