Mrs. Leola Richardson Cooper, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 18, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.  Mrs. Leola is the wife of the late Jimmie Cooper and the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Annie Skipper Richardson.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by three brothers: Mutt Richardson, Aurthur Richardson, and W.D. Richardson; and two sisters: Elizabeth Barnhill and Katie Jordan.  Mrs. Cooper was a devoted member of Aynor First Baptist where she served in many capacities including Sunday School teacher for many years.  She loved to sing in the choir and worship her Lord.  Mrs. Leola was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Mrs. Cooper is survived by two sons: Terry and Craig Cooper; one daughter: Gayle Cooper; one granddaughter: Kimberly Cooper Jones (Joshua) and two great grandchildren: Marleigh Kate Jones and Everleigh Magnolia Jones.  A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Leola Cooper 3:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Aynor First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Atkinson and Dr. Micah Lane officiating.  The burial will follow at the Aynor Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.
