Mrs. Lillie Mae Lewis, age 79, wife of Mr. Wesley Lewis passed away February 13, 2016 at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lewis was born March 5, 1936 in Horry County a daughter of the late Albert and Lillie Graham Gasque. She was predeceased by four brothers, Calvin, Thurmond, Henry, and L.B. Gasque, and four sisters, Christine Martin, Eitha Collins, Gladys Jones, and Nathlee Dixon. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Bayboro Baptist Church. After retiring from the Horry County School District, Mrs. Lewis enjoyed going and visiting with friends and family. She had a special love for her grandchildren and a passion for cooking. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband of the home Mr. Wesley Lewis, one daughter, Betty Lavin (Harry) of Aynor, two sisters, Hazel Lewis (Lorrell) and Ada Faye Gasque both of Aynor, three grandchildren, Scott Lavin (Kristine) of Aynor, Nicole Ryan Moser of Little River, Brandon Lavin (Jami) of North Myrtle Beach, and three great grandchildren, Austin Lavin, Brady Lavin, Bradley Moser.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday February 16, 2016 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 AM at Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
