Mrs. Linda McGovern Braswell, age 71 wife of the late James Frank Braswell passed away August 5, 2016 at Roper hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Braswell was born March 9, 1945 a daughter of the late John Tom and Esther Lee Groseclose McGovern. She was predeceased by one grandson, Haydin Riggins, and one brother, Jimmy McGovern. Mrs. Braswell was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, especially to her grandchildren and loved playing card games with her family. Mrs. Braswell is survived by three sons, Darryl Braswell (Rachel) of Charlotte, NC, Scott Braswell of Conway, SC, Dwaine Braswell (Chris) of Chippawafall, Wi, three daughters, LaDonna Jordan of Conway, SC, Tina Nava of Conway, SC, Chrissie Booth (Chris) of Loris, SC, two sisters, Sandra Gail Morris of Surfside, SC, Patsy Hooks of Myrtle Beach, SC, eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held Monday August 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Singleton officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at New Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hemingway, SC.
