Mrs. Lois E. DuBose, age 92, wife of the late Charles L. DuBose, passed away June 30, 2020 at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living.  Mrs. DuBose was born March 18, 1928, a daughter of the late Robert Edward Lee Lewis and the late Lois Elease Timmons Lewis.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. DuBose was predeceased by a son in law, Tommy Bruton. Mrs. DuBose attended Winthrop College and the University of South Carolina.  She retired from Horry County Schools in 1991.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Mrs. DuBose enjoyed spending time with her family, her beloved dogs, and working in her yard.  She is survived by two sons: Scott DuBose (Debbie) of Aynor, Rev. Charles L. DuBose (Libby) of Johnsonville; two daughters: Linda Shelley (Roland) of Charleston and Alice Bruton of Conway; two brothers: Lynnwood Lewis of Myrtle Beach and Bobby Edward Lee Lewis of North Myrtle Beach; one sister: Claudette Rebecca Hatchell of Myrtle Beach; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  Memorials can be made in Mrs. DuBose's memory to All 4 Paws, 708 Petigru Drive Pawleys Island, SC 29585.  A private graveside service will be held.
