Mr. Lonnie "Tony" Godsey Sr., age 77, husband of the late Bonita "Bonnie" Godsey, passed away December 21, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Godsey was born June 2, 1945 a son of the late Harold Edward and Ethel Marie Lovette Lynch. He was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church in Aynor, member of the Aynor Masonic Lodge, former Aynor Town Council Member, and retired from the Horry County School District. Mr. Godsey is survived by one son: Tony Godsey Jr. (Page); one daughter: Laura G. Jordan (Benjamin); two granddaughters: Cori See (Nick), Emme Godsey; one grandson: Tony Godsey III (Sara); three great grandchildren: Nicholas See, Nash See, Nate See; one sister: Sherry Lynch and his beloved pet Manny. Services for Mr. Godsey will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be to Faith Baptist Church, PO Box 117 Aynor, SC 29511.
