Mrs. Louise Fowler Croll, age 88, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at her son's residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Louise was born January 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary Elizabeth Todd Floyd. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Louise was predeceased in death by her first husband of 56 years: Mr. Thomas Fowler and her second husband Mr. Floyd Croll; one grandson: Jon Fowler; and two sisters: Margaret Williams and Gladys Norris. Mrs. Louise retired from Carolina Strand and was a member of North Conway Baptist Church where she loved serving the Lord and the church in many different capacities. She will be remembered as a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving Mrs. Louise are two sons: Bobby Fowler (Debbie) and Thomas "Eddie" Fowler (Cindy); three brothers: Wendell Floyd, Johnny Floyd and Joseph Floyd; one sister: Elouise Smith; three grandchildren: Talon Fowler, Joshua Fowler and Shonda Cooper; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Louise will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Jeff Gaskins and Rev. Jay Worthington officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 2620 Mount Zion Road Loris, SC 29569.
