Mr. Major T. Carroll, age 80, husband of the late Carolyn Allen Carroll, passed away September 27, 2024, at Loris Hospital. Mr. Carroll was born December 11, 1943, a son of the late Thelbert "Ham" and Rutillie Rabon Carroll. He was also predeceased by one brother: Pearlie Carroll and a brother-in-law: Robert Thompkins. Mr. Carroll was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors working in his gardens and fishing at the river. He is survived by one son: Ricky Thomas Carroll; one daughter: Angela Renee Rabon; four grandchildren: Matthew Rabon (Yuliya), Daniel Rabon (Lauren), MaKayla Bullock and Andrew Rabon (Amanda); three great grandchildren: Mark Rabon, Victoria Rabon and Hunter Bullock; two brothers: Mace Carroll (Marguerite) and Worley Carroll (Diane); and four sisters: Eloise Brooks, Elise Thompkins, Betty Faye Lilly (Boyce "Skeeter") and Connie Johnson (Carl). Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mr. Carroll's home, 3531 Goodluck Road Aynor, SC 29511. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday September 30, 2024, at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
