Mrs. Marinela Poston, age 62, of Marion passed away on Sunday August, 4, 2024 at her residence.  Mrs. Poston was born June 21, 1962 to Gheorghe and Niculina Eftenie in Bucharest, Romania.  Mrs. Poston worked for Horry County Schools as a Bus Driver.  She loved all children, especially her grandkids.  She was a very outgoing person that loved to travel the world and work with flowers.  If you were ever around Mrs. Poston, you learned quickly that she was a joy to be around and was the "Life of the Party."  Surviving Mrs. Poston was her husband: Russel Poston; two sons: John Pirvu and Robert Winburn; five grandchildren: Rider, Riverlyn, Amaris, Roxanna, and Eddie; and her special friend: Kim Lehmen.  A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the home of Mrs. Poston from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.  The family would love for you to come and share a memory or two concerning Mrs. Marinela.
