Mary Ellen Gore, age 85, wife of the late James Allison Gore passed away July 27, 2016 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Gore was born February 16, 1931 a daughter of the late Harmon Reynolds and the late Bertha Lupo Reynolds. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gore was predeceased by one son, Lenaire Gore, four brothers, R.J. Reynolds Sr., Gary Odell Reynolds, Travis M. Reynolds, S.M. Reynolds, and one sister, Daisy R. Cooke. Mrs. Gore was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family dearly. She also enjoyed shopping and traveling. She is survived by one daughter, Becky Lee (Ferrell) of Conway, two sisters, Geraldine R. Alford of Galivants Ferry, Lois R. Morrow of Effingham, five grandchildren, Olivia Graham (Daryl), Anthony Gore (Jeanie), Scarlett Whittington (Jody), Rebecca Shelley (Scott), Cameron Lee (Traci), nine great grandchildren, Jackie Lee Graham, William Graham, Gavin Gore, Jaxson Gore, Jaret Whittington, Autumn Whittington, Laney Shelley, Claire Lee, Channing Lee, and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held Friday July 29, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday July 30, 2016 at Oakey Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating.

ENTOMBMENT

Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
