Mrs. Mary Jeanette Johnson, age 76, wife of the late Edward J. Johnson Sr., passed away November 13, 2016 at Conway Medical surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Johnson was born January 30, 1940 in the Joyner Swamp section of Horry County, a daughter of the late Rochell and Doretha Tyler Goff. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church, a long term election poll holder, and a member of the Day Lily Red Hatters. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Edward J. Johnson Jr. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son, Edward Johnson and his wife Paula of Yardley, Pennsylvania, four brothers, Herman Goff and Lester Goff, both of Charleston, Eddie Goff and Alfred Goff both of Aynor, two sisters, Irma Jean Gerrald and Ann Roberts, both of Aynor, and one grandson, Paul Johnson of Yardley, Pennsylvania.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Berea Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Jenerette officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
