Mrs. Mary Lucille Capps Skipper, age 92, wife of the late S.H. Skipper Jr. passed away April 1, 2016 at Kingston Nursing Center with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Skipper was born in Horry County a daughter of the late John B. and Martha Squires Capps. Mrs. Skipper was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and was predeceased by one grandson, Chris Johnson, and three brothers, Coleman, Henry, and James Capps. Mrs. Skipper is survived by one son, Windell Skipper (Marilyn) of Laurens, two daughters, Carol Jean DeCarbo (Eddie) of New Castle, Pa., Sherry Smith (Joey) of Galivants Ferry, two brothers, Herman Capps of Charleston, Leonard Capps of Georgia, eight grandchildren, Brent Skipper (Teresa), Brian Skipper, Brandon Skipper (Jennifer), Craig Johnson (Khristi), Clay Johnson (Deirdre), Joey Smith (Julie), Clint Smith (Hanna), Amber Phipps (Lloyd), one step granddaughter, Rachielle Alden (Sam), thirteen great grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Caitlyn Johnson, Ava Johnson, Allyson Smith, Nealy Smith, Joley Smith, Annah Belle Smith, Joel Johnson, Lucy Johnson, Zoey Phipps, Cayden Phipps, Bryson Phipps, Kensington Skipper, and three step great grandchildren, Anthony Oliva, Nic Oliva, Carmen Oliva.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held Sunday April 3 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday April 4 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jane Pearce and Rev. Lloyd Phipps officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
