Mrs. Mary Ann Richardson, age 70, of Galivants Ferry, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at MUSC Charleston.  Mrs. Mary Ann was the wife of the late Danny Richardson and daughter of the late John Henry and Thelma Dukes Bratcher.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one brother, Larry Bratcher and one sister, Judy Bratcher.  Mrs. Richarson will be remembered as being a loving mother, Mammy, sister, daughter, and friend to many.  Mrs. Mary Ann loved her family dearly and enjoyed being able to be around everyone.  She was a devote Christian and was proud to be a Child of God.  Mrs. Mary Ann Richardson is survived by one son: Joey Richardson (Elisa); one daughter: Sarah Richardson King (Kevin); four grandchildren: Bailey Richardson, Mary Kate Richardson (Briggs Dorman), Ella Frances King, and Anna Grace King; and one sister: Millie Paul.  A graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service at Ms. Mary Ann's home, 1571 Betsy Lane, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Mrs. Mary Ann Richardson to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org, Shriners Hospital at www.shrinerschildren.org, or the Childrens Baptist Home at www.baptistchildrenshome.org.
