Mrs. Mary "Bonnie" Young, age 71, of Galivants Ferry passed away September 27, 2020 at her residence.  Mrs. Bonnie was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she loved her church family dearly.  Mrs. Young was predeceased by her husband, the late Michael Young; her parents: J. Ben Cooke, Mary James Cooke, Lloyd Cooke, and Ruby Newman Brown; brothers: J. B. "Pop" Cooke, Gibson Cooke, Billy Ned Cooke, Legran Cooke, and Sam Cooke; sisters: Fancy Neil, Mildred Vaught, Macie Page, and Rebecca Lynne Cooke.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her friends, and enjoyed helping others.  Mrs. Young enjoyed being outdoors gardening and working in her yard.  She is survived by one daughter: Cindy Williamson (Mark); two grandchildren: Brittany Powers (Bryan) and Dustin Williamson; two great grandchildren: Emilee Kate Powers and Maggie Brynn Powers; three brothers: Ben Cooke (Rebekah), Ralph Brown (Denise), Jesse Brown; and one sister: Cindy Gibbs.  A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gordan Graham and Rev. Dean Conner officiating.  Please remember to practice social distancing and follow all CDC recommendations.
