Michelle Collins

Ms. Michele D. Collins, age 47, of Galivants Ferry, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at Grand Strand Medical Center. Ms. Collins was the companion of the late Nick Smith, daughter of Janice F. Collins and the late Randell Collins. In addition to her companion and father, she is predeceased by one brother, Marshall Collins, and grandparents, J.T. and Gracie Floyd, and Hubert and Mae Clara Collins. Michele loved her Mt. Dews and cigarettes, along with going to the river. Surviving Michele are her two children, Gage Smith and Jorden Smith; mother, Janice F. Collins; sister, Melissa Collins Brown (Lee); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Rehoboth Community Church, with Rev. Mark Player officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
