Mrs. Nancy Dawsey, age 63, of Galivants Ferry passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at MUSC Health in Florence.  Mrs. Dawsey was the wife of Mr. Tim Dawsey and daughter of the late "JT" and Gracie Long Floyd.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one sister: Hillary Floyd.  Mrs. Nancy was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She loved fishing, gardening, cross stitching, quilting, and was considered an all-around seamstress.  Her love for her family, children, and grandchildren was unmeasurable.  Surviving Mrs. Nancy is her husband of the home, Mr. Tim Dawsey; two daughters: Ashley Dawsey (Justin Shaw) and Kasie Thompkins (Christopher); three grandchildren: Konner Thompson, Kasen Shaw, and Karsen Thompson; and six sisters: Helen Greenwell, Pat Strickland, Janice Collins, Joan Squires, Peggy Adams, and Karen Stevens.  The family will receive friends at Berea Baptist Church on February 26, 2025 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.  A funeral service will follow at the church beginning at 4:00 PM with the Rev.
