Mr. Nathan E. Collins, age 71, passed away following an extended illness at Grand Strand Medical Center on October 24,2025. Mr. Collins was born on May 13, 1954, a son of the late Ernest and Laura Hucks Collins. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by three brothers: S. Wendell Collins, Lloyd W. Collins and Terry J. Collins; and two sisters: Miranda C. Smith-Bickle and Iris Lynn Peavy. Nathan attended church at The Fountain of Life Ministries. He loved being outdoors camping, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his loyalty and being a good friend to everyone. He is survived by two sisters: Treacie Dobbins and Rachel Skelcher and her husband Mark; a nephew Chris Peavy along many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; and his beloved dog: Bobo. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 12:30-1:45 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Private burial will be held at the Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery.
