Mr. Nathan "Junior" Martin Jr., age 81 passed away at Grand Strand Medical Center Saturday August 20, 2016. Mr. Martin was born June 20, 1935 a son of the late Oscar Martin Sr. and Christine Gasque Martin. He was predeceased by one son, Nathan Terry Martin, and one brother, Eugene Martin. Mr. Martin retired from Stilley Plywood after many years of service and was the owner of Cool Springs Farm Center. Mr. Martin is survived his wife, Mrs. Edna "Edna Bell" Skipper Martin of the home, one daughter, Kathy Morris (Matthew) of Aynor, two Grandchildren, Nathan Eli Terry Skipper (Renee) of Mt. Pleasant, Samantha Morris Bensfield (Michael) of Aynor, five great grandchildren, Isabel Skipper, Hayes Skipper, Mary Caroline Skipper, Katherine Bensfield, and Lila Bensfield.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday August 22, 2016 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
