Rev. Paul Q. Alford, age 81, of Aynor entered his eternal home with Jesus on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, while surrounded by his two loving daughters.  Rev. Paul was the husband of the late Faye Ray Alford and son of the late Owen Gurley and Addie Jane Rouse Alford.  Rev. Paul was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.  He was a Baptist Minister since 1978, 47 years, in which he pastored Ridgefield Baptist Church for 5 years and Bayboro Baptist Church for 39 years.  He was founder and owner of Paul's Barber Shop in Mullins where he was a barber to many for over 61 years.  Rev. Paul Alford was predeceased by his wife, parents, and siblings: William Alford, Mary Lee Register, Ruth Collins, Bethany Brown, Bertie Butler, Rachel Mishoe, and Addie Mae Best.  Surviving Rev. Paul are two daughters: Paula Alford Pratt and Dr. Michelle Alford Rabon (Jerry); six grandchildren: Chris Cox, Paul Ray Pratt, Courtney Rabon, Preston Rabon, Brennen Rabon Tedder (Andrew), and Adam Barnhill; two great grandchildren: Kam Cox and Langleigh Tedder.  A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2025 at Aynor Cemetery with Rev. Roger Chestnut officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Rev.
