Mr. Pensa "Colie" Martin age 79 of Old Tram Road passed away September 4, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Martin was born June 14, 1935 a son of the late Joseph M. and Victoria Rogers Martin. He was predeceased by four brothers, O.C. Martin, Zack Martin, Lee Martin, and Wiliken Martin. Mr. Martin retired from the United Air Force after 21 years of service and two tours in the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Mr. Martin was a former Post Master of the Aynor Post Office and former member of the Aynor VFW. Surviving Mr. Martin in addition to his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Kyoko Martin are three daughters, Cynthia Barker (Ed) of Kennesaw, Ga., Zenobia Raines (Bill) of Vansant, Va., Vicky Budreau (Mike) of Summerville, SC, one brother, Lindsey Martin of Conway, four grandchildren, Laura Barker of San Diego, Cal., Savannah Raines of Nashville, Tenn., Dakota Raines of Vansant Va., Anna Budreau of Summerville, SC and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday September 7, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor with Rev. Ken Herrington officiating.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday one hour prior to the service.
