Mrs. Phyllis H. Johnson age 80 wife of Mr. J.B. Johnson passed away March 17, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Johnson was born April 3, 1937 a daughter of the late Greever and Gaynelle Holland Higgins. Mrs. Johnson retired from Aynor IGA after many years of service where she received cashier of the year awards many times. She loved all the people at the IGA and after her retirement, she still had to go visit with them. She loved working, word search puzzles and cooking Sunday dinner for her family. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by three brothers, Herman Higgins, Allen Higgins, Henry Higgins, and three sisters, Goldie Johnson, Myra Mann, and Mary Gearhart. In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, James B. Johnson (Beatrice), J.B. Johnson III (Toni) all of Galivants Ferry, one daughter, Doris Davis (Vern) of Marion, one sister, Nelly Watts of Florence, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

VISITATION

Visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday March 19, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home.

PRIVATE GRAVESIDE

A private graveside service will be held at the Florence National Cemetery Tuesday.
