Rhonda M. Johnson age 70, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Rhonda was born February 17, 1953, daughter of the late Jacob and Mildred Richardson Martin.  She was a Christian mother and grandmother who loved puzzles, reading, gardening, and especially her flowers and hummingbirds. She always put her family ahead of herself.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lawton Johnson Jr.; mother-in-law: Gladys Johnson; father-in-law: Lawton Johnson Sr.; grandson: Kyle Dunn; and a brother:  Frankie L. Martin.  Ms. Rhonda is survived by three children: Sherry Johnson, Russell Johnson (Brian), and Charlotte Smith (Richie) all of Galivants Ferry; three grandchildren: Cole Dunn, Chase Dunn, and Corbin Smith.  Along with two great grandchildren: Lawton Johnson and Kylere Johnson.  She had one brother: Keith Martin (Tammy); four sisters: Sharon Elvis (Dale), Della Strickland (Boyce), Lynn Johnson (Shelly T.), and Odessa Norris (David); one sister-in-law; Jackie Martin: and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.   The family will receive friends Monday, January 29, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home from 10:00 -11:00 AM.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor with Rev. Davin Johnson officiating.  Burial will take place at Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery.  "Mourne not for me for I am in the house of the Lord and have my angel wings."
