Mr. Richard E. Lewis Jr., age 67, husband of the late Linda R. Lewis, passed away following a motorcycle accident on September 26, 2026, at McLeod Loris Hospital. Richard was born November 2, 1959, a son of the late Richard Earl Lewis Sr. and the late Florence Lewis. He was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Church. Richard is survived by three sisters: Catherine Cooke, Bernadette Farrier (Rodney), and Rachel Hill (James); two brothers: Stan Helewski (Sheryl) and Darrell Lewis (Janet); two step-sons: Stevie Anderson (Stephanie) and Michael Anderson; seven step-grandchildren: Justin, Brandon, Davey, Jacob, Reagan Anderson, and Dalton and Keagan Baker; three step-great-grandchildren: Sutton, Maci, and Haileigh Anderson. Funeral services for Mr. Richard will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Valley Forge Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM before the service.
