Mrs. Rosa Ann Cook Richards, age 82 wife of the late Edward Earl Cook passed away January 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Cook was born March 11, 1935 a daughter of the late Charlie and Lizzy Shelley Smith and was predeceased by a grandson, Anthony Keith Evans, one son, Ronald Cook, one brother, Douglas Smith, one sister, Joyce Johnson, and a daughter in law, Dorothy (Fronnie) Cook. Mrs. Cook attend Marion Mullins Freewill Baptist Church and she loved her family, cooking, and gardening. Mrs. Cook is survived by five sons, Jimmy Cook (Libby) of Dillon, Tommy Cook of Dillon, Stoney Cook (Sheila) of Blenheim, Hayward Cook (Debbie) of Marion, Scottie Cook of Pamplico, four daughters, Cheryl Allen (Jack) of Effingham, Jan Martinez (Henry) of Marion, Carol Owens (Ronald) of Mullins, Donna Fowler (Gene) of Gresham, two brothers, J.W. Smith of Greenville, L.C. Smith of Florida, one sister, Shirley Cook of Pamplico, a daughter in law, Susan Cook of Florida, and 26 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Sonny Acres and Embrace Hospice for all their love and care.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held Saturday January 27, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday January 28, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Johnson and Rev. Jeremy Wallace officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery.
