Mrs. Ruby Nell Thomas Gasque, age 76, wife of Mr. Joel Gasque passed away March 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Gasque was born on February 16, 1948, a daughter of the late Alton and Helen Martin Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister: Mary Jane Martin. Mrs. Gasque was born in Mullins, SC and lived there until marrying her husband, Mr. Joel Gasque, in 1969. She was a beautician for 30 years, co-owner and operator of Loris Cold Storage for 16 ½ years and a member of the Horry Saddle Club. In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Gasque is survived by one son: Jamie Gasque and his wife Amanda; four grandchildren: Kevin Bradley Gasque, Jamie Clayton McGee Gasque, Kenneth Taylor Gasque and KayLee Lynn Gasque; two great grandchildren: Jonathon Drake Fowler and Kaseom Wayne Gasque; and her fur baby: Tiny. Visitation for Mrs. Gasque will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home.
