Mr. Russell Durant McKenzie, age 63, passed away Wednesday March, 16, 2022, at Senior Care of Marion following an illness.  Mr. Russell was the son of the late Benjamin Durant McKenzie and Euvena Dorrell.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one brother: Scotty McKenzie.  Mr. McKenzie was former owner of Industrial Rewinding where he retired from.  He was a Veteran of the US Army and a Master Mason.  Mr. Russell loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and drinking Pepsi's while visiting the beach.  He was an avid Carolina Panthers and Dale Earnhardt fan.  Mr. McKenzie is survived by one daughter: Taylor McKenzie (Robert Johnson); two step daughters: Ashlee Wolfe and Meghan Carter (Scooter); five grandchildren: Brinson Johnson, Caydence Brady, Rivers Rabon, Maddox Rabon, and Carter.  There are no service scheduled at this time for Mr. Russell McKenzie.
