Sammy Bud Reynolds, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2015 at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, South Carolina. Sammy was the eldest son of the late Dick and Lois (Huggins) Reynolds, born January 9, 1944. Sammy was the Vice President of the Class of 1962 of Aynor High School. He served as a Highway Patrolman for the State of South Carolina for 15 years. He also served as the Transportation Manager for the Babcock Center in Columbia for 23 years. He is survived by his spouse of 33 years, Mary N. Reynolds, his brother, Lamar Reynolds (Delores) of Sumter, his children, Samuel Alan Reynolds (Columbia), Curtis Brett Reynolds (Birmingham, AL), Allen Nesbitt (Lexington), Frances Nesbitt (Lexington) and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Jordan (Aynor) and brother, Larry Reynolds (St. George).

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 5, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor with the Rev. Willie Cooper officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
