Mrs. Sandy Lynn Gore Steffen, age 57, passed away November 15, 2023, at McLeod Loris Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Steffen was born a daughter of the late Benford Carl and Melvadean Rabon Gore. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one brother Barry Gore. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden, taking care of her flowers and watching her birds. She will be remembered as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Steffen is survived by her husband; Mr. Kevin Steffen of the home; two daughters: Natalie Smith and Kristan Smith; two sons: Brandon Steffen and Eric Steffen; two brothers: Jeffery Gore and William Gore; five grandchildren: Braiden Smith, Barry Chandler Smith, Lynlee Grai Smith, Faylen Rose Smith and Ethan Noe. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 20, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
