Mrs. Shirley H. Barnhill, age 77 wife of the late Carl F. Barnhill passed away Sunday February 25, 2018 at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Barnhill was born May 26, 1940 a daughter of the late "Pal" and Ina Mae Hardwick, and was predeceased by two brothers, Willis and Gennins Hardwick. Mrs. Barnhill had been a very active member of Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was the former owner and operator of Barnhill's Superette and had also retired from Anderson Brothers Bank. She was a godly dedicated loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and many friends, and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Barnhill is survived by two sons, Larry Barnhill (Cora), Danny Barnhill (Susie), one daughter, Dean Goewey (Jarryld) one brother, Wayne Hardwick, all of Galivants Ferry, her adopted sister Martha Hardwick of Zebulon, NC, seven grandchildren, April Buffkin (Alan), Jason Barnhill (Brandi), Devin Barnhill (Kacie), Gabriel Barnhill, Jordan Goewey, Summer Goewey, Carly Goewey, and her great grandchildren, Zach, Isaac, Christian, Bristol and Wyatt Barnhill.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held Monday February 26, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday February 27, 2018 at Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Timmy Hodge officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
