Mr. Sidney Lloyd Frye, age 85, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Lloyd was the son of the late Gabriel Webster Frye and Alice Brown Frye.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son: Duane Frye and one sister: Eleanor Marz.  He attended Red Hill Methodist Church. Mr. Frye was very talented on his stringed instruments and loved playing gospel music, especially on his guitar and mandolin. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Mr. Lloyd enjoyed his profession of farming and loved to supply his community with vegetables and fruits he was able to grow.  Mr. Frye is survived by his wife: Mrs. Monica Frye; two sons: Webby Frye (Debbie) and Jim Ivey (Beth); six grandchildren: Bryan Frye (Susan), Amber Graham (Eric), Zach Mitchell, Noah Beverly, Hunter Beverly, and River Ivey; three great grandchildren; one brother: Jimmy Frye; and one sister: Frankie Jordan.  A graveside service will be held 4:30 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Zion Cemetery with the Rev. Rawlin Booth officiating.  Please remember to wear a mask and practice all CDC guidelines for social distancing.
